The Foothills Medical Centre, located in Calgary, Alberta, is the largest Level 1 Trauma centre in western Canada, with over 1,200 Level 1 trauma activations annually. The Foothills Medical Centre is a tertiary referral centre and renowned teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Calgary.

As orthopaedic trauma surgeons, we provide comprehensive emergency services and specialized care for severe and complex musculoskeletal injuries for a catchment area of over 2 million people. With its state-of-the-art hospital and research facilities and highly skilled medical professionals, the Foothills Medical Centre plays a critical role in healthcare delivery, surgical education, and transformational research in Canada.
